I have a strong preference in the outcome of this election and voted along the lines of it: for Harris/Walz over Trump/Vance. Obviously I wish there were better possible outcomes but those weren’t on the available ballot and I’m a simple type of creature, taking the best available option.
I don'’t figure most people I know for undecided, except maybe between electoralism/anti-electoralism, and generally people are pretty averse to being pushed on these preferences and will double down in response. For my two cents I’ve always been unconvinced by anti-electoralism, which I think has the same fixation on elections as electoralism, but with even less impact because there’s also not a vote. The unsatisfactory two-party system doesn’t run on high turnout and isn’t threatened by abstention or marginal third-party votes - low-turnout areas often have really entrenched party officials.
The Working Family Parties line is usually a pretty good bet wherever it’s available. Fusion voting has a lot of limits, but the WFP does a bit of good without detrimental effects.
As we all know there needs to be better, deeper organizing in the future no matter what.
